Can A Medium Help You Overcome Grief?
No. Simply put, no one can help you decide when and how to navigate through your emotions. What a medium CAN do is help you decide HOW to navigate THROUGH those emotions. Whatever the story was between you and someone you shared time with, who is no longer with us, the conclusion cannot be solved by any one sentence. A message may not be “I’m Sorry” or “I Forgive You” and even it was, you still must decide what to DO with it. There are many times that hearing that long sought out apology surprisingly left the person being read with an empty feeling inside. Why? Sometimes we spend so much time picturing an outcome that we never stop to ask if it’s the RIGHT outcome?
There are so many mysteries in this world. WHY did we need to experience such profound loss? Why must every beautiful thing in life carry such risk of turning ugly in the blink of an eye? WTF is the point of all of this? These questions? Excellent in theory and yet somehow impossible to answer definitively. As curious creatures, pondering these thoughts can help inspire. The thin line comes when we obsess over questions that just don’t seem like they want to be answered. We can take what we learn along the way and come up with theories that fuel our momentum forward or we can drown in the mystery of it all
A medium is here to help you get information that may not be available any other way. It’s also information from a much different perspective with no skin in the game you’re playing. However, you are ultimately responsible if those messages are enough for closure. A very important friend of mine once told me, “People need transformation more than information” What I will do to that statement is paraphrase “People need to use information to help with their transformation” If it’s heavy, let a medium spot you. Just remember that YOU must be the one to lift it
